Benjamin Goldman is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, where he focuses his practice on complex litigation in state and federal courts around the country, with a particular focus on multijurisdictional products liability matters, toxic torts, consumer protection issues, and sexual misconduct liability.
Benjamin has successfully handled both civil and criminal cases involving complex and high-stakes allegations. His experience includes representing clients in matters related to sexual assault, including incidents in institutional settings, as well as fraud cases such as insider bank fraud and disputes over the attempted seizure of cryptocurrency. Skilled at navigating parallel civil and criminal proceedings, Benjamin is committed to protecting his clients' rights. He has taken over 50 cases to trial and secured favorable verdicts.
Before joining Montgomery McCracken, Benjamin was an associate at a large personal injury and medical malpractice law firm. Prior to that, Benjamin established himself with a solo criminal defense practice for over ten years.
Benjamin received his J.D. from the University of Michigan. After becoming an attorney, he pursued and earned an M.A. in political science from the University of Michigan. He earned his B.A. in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
