Gregory M. Harvey, an attorney with Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP was a speaker at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s ‘Controlling Speech in 2013 – Money, Politics and Power,’ a presentation which explored First Amendment legal issues, monitoring free speech and social media and the impacts on election law. Harvey addressed the impact of the Citizen United decision of the Supreme Court U.S. on spending by individuals and corporations in the 2012 Presidential election.
Harvey serves as senior counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department and is chair of its Public Election Law practice. His practice has resulted in more than 150 reported judicial decisions and includes extensive experience on appellate briefing and argument, First Amendment law, securities litigation, and public election law.
