Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP partner Jeremy D. Mishkin was among the panelists sharing best practices at the Chemical Products Liability and Environmental Litigation Conference held in Chicago, IL on April 27-28.  Mishkin participated on a panel discussing the science and regulation of nanotechnology in chemical and consumer products and how to plan for potential future liability matters based on this novel science.  The topics covered included nanotechnology regulation in the United States, health and environmental implications and methods of risk assessment, emerging trends and anticipating and preparing for future claims.

Mishkin is the chairman of Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation Department and served as the firm’s managing partner for 7 years.  Mishkin’s practice emphasizes complex commercial matters and technology-related issues.  He has handled litigation and served as national and regional counsel for corporate clients who have been sued in numerous product liability lawsuits in multiple jurisdictions.  He has tried cases involving RICO, libel, computer hardware and software, complex mechanical products and industrial chemicals.

Mishkin is admitted to practice before the United States and Pennsylvania Supreme Courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
