Ashley Lynam became co-chair of Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads in May.
Ashley Lynam is 37 years old, has worked at her law firm for less than three years and is now six months pregnant with her third child. It’s not exactly the traditional profile of a law firm leader.
She is reminded of that when she walks the halls of Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads’ offices at 1735 Market St. and encounters portraits of the various white men who have served as chairman of the 111-year-old firm. Lynam was elected co-chair of Montgomery McCracken last month, making her the first millennial to hold such a role at a major Philadelphia law firm.
